Daily Minyan

Daily Minyan

minyan is the foundation of a spiritual community.  Our CBS family is proud to offer daily egalitarian worship services morning and evening every day of the year. Services require a “minyan” (a quorum of 10 adults), and thus we welcome all members of the community and their attendance is cherished. If you are unable to attend a service due to illness or other circumstance, our daily morning minyan are held via Zoom and live streamed and our daily evening minyan are live streamed.

The minyan supports those in need of reciting Kaddish on the anniversary of a death or during the 11 months of mourning after a close relative has passed away. But it’s much more than that. The morning minyan is a way to start the day off on the right foot with prayer time for introspection. Morning minyan is followed by breakfast including coffee, bagels, cereal, fruit and sweets which also provides valuable time to bond with other members of the congregation and the clergy on a more personal level (currently not being held due to our building being closed due to COVID-19).

Minyan is held in the Feather Beit Midrash at

  • 7:45 a.m. Monday-Friday via Live Stream and Zoom*.
  • 8:45 a.m. on Sunday and legal holidays via Live Stream and Zoom*.
  • 7:45 p.m. Sunday-Thursday evening via Live Stream.
