Daily Minyan

Daily Minyan

CBS has now returned to daily in-person Minyanim.

minyan is the foundation of a spiritual community.  Our CBS family is proud to offer daily egalitarian worship services morning and evening every day of the year. Services require a “minyan” (a quorum of 10 adults), and thus we welcome all members of the community and their attendance is cherished. Both our daily morning and evening minyanim are held in-person and live streamed.

The minyan supports those in need of reciting Kaddish on the anniversary of a death or during the 11 months of mourning after a close relative has passed away, but it’s much more than that. The morning minyan is a way to start the day off on the right foot with prayer time for introspection.

Minyan is held in the Feather Beit Midrash:

  • Sunday and legal holidays at 8:45 a.m.
  • Monday – Friday at 7:45 a.m.
  • Sunday – Thursday evening at 7:45 p.m.

Dress code is casual.

  • Please take an active role in our community by helping us make Minyan every morning & evening.
  • No pre-registration is required to attend in-person or to watch the Live Stream.
  • As of May 5, 2022, ALL people age 5 and over attending any CBS program (inside or outside) are required to  to be vaccinated and to provide proof of vaccination. Click here to complete the CBS Vaccine Status form. This mandate is for anyone who is eligible to be vaccinated, and then when eligible (currently 12 and older), to obtain a booster.
  • If you do not wish to complete the CBS Vaccine Status form, you will be required to show proof of your vaccine card upon entering CBS.
  • Masks are required for all large gatherings over the next few weeks as of May 5, 2022. This includes Shabbat mornings, Sisterhood Culminating Dinner, CBS Annual Fundraiser and any event where social distancing is challenged.
  • Congregation Beth Shalom has moved to a “mask strongly recommended” phase for the entire synagogue (ages 2 and up)  for all other events. We will continue to social distance.
  • If you’re not feeling well, you should not attend any worship services in person at CBS.
