Blessing of the Pets

Bring Your Furry Family Members to be Blessed by the CBS Clergy!

In keeping with the belief that all living creatures are sacred, and knowing how important pets are to families’ lives, on this Shabbat of Noach, the CBS clergy will bless your pets. All friendly pets are invited on a leash or in a carrier!

We will be collecting items for various shelters’ wish lists:

• Blankets and comforters – not too large or heavy
• Towels – don’t throw out old linens
• Dog bones, chew bones, treats, & balls
• Wild bird seed – our cats love to watch the birds
• Paper towels
• Dog biscuits/treats
• Materials to make dog tug toys – old t-shirts (adult sizes) and tennis balls
• Please bring donations by October 29, 2021 – thank you!
