Jewish learning lasts a lifetime...

Congregation Beth Shalom offers an extensive adult education program called CBS University that includes special programming and classes for all members. Classes and programs cover many topics and are offered at various times to meet the needs of our congregants.

Over the past several years we have begun collaborating with other institutions offering adult education. Together we have shared resources and developed programming that is of the highest caliber.

Throughout the year, courses in Hebrew, Bible, current events, theology, philosophy, Hebrew, history and so much more. To meet the needs of our constitituents we offer classes at a variety of times. We are also beginning to explore the world of online learning as in last year's Mitzvah Initiative and this year's Two Minute Torah series.

Our adult education committee plans our adult education courses with Leann Blue, Director of Jewish Life and Learning. Our committee also helps with publicity and organization.
