A few suggestions for involving yourself in Shabbat as a Mitzvah:

 

In my home:        
 
  have Shabbat dinner together as a family
  light and bless the candles
  recite kiddush
  bless challot
  bless your child(ren)
  try a timeless Shabbat---put your watch away and let the length of the day be your clock
  ignore your phone/cell phone

 

At Beth Shalom:

 

if you are a K - 2 Religious School Parent, come to our Shabbat as a Mitzvah Workshop on 10/10/10!


be a part of the community any (or every) Friday night or Saturday morning

stay after services for kiddush and really immerse yourself in community
  attend our CBS Shabbat Dinner on October 29, 2010
