TU B'SHEVAT TITLES
Tu B'Shevat, the "New Year for Trees" or "The Birthday of the Trees", is celebrated every year on the 15th day of Shevat,
which is January or February on our calendar. On this holiday, we are reminded to honor trees and nature; to protect them;
to use and recycle their products wisely; and to take care of our environment and our earth. Planting trees in Israel is a
special way to celebrate Tu B'Shevat. Traditionally, at a Tu B'Shevat seder, we eat from Israel's seven species named
in the Torah: barley, dates, figs, grapes, olives, pomegranates, and wheat..
