Camp Beth Shalom--January 10, 2009
Even
though there was a foot of snow on the ground, it was extremely warm at
Beth Shalom as we recreated our own version of a Saturday night at
summer camp! We started with Havdallah and continued with a wonderful
sing - a - long featuring members of own ShabbaTONE band. We also took
the opportunity to celebrate Rabbi Carl and Judy Wolkin's 40th
anniversary since they met at Camp Ramah! With a virtual campfire in our
lobby and a fire ''pit'' on our sukkah deck to make s'mores, the over
200 people who attended had a wonderful time. |
