CBS
Kadima has one of the largest memberships in the
Chicago region, and is open to Jewish 6th through 8th graders. We sponsor 1-2 programs a month, both in and out of the building, and we also strongly encourage participation in
RegionalConventions including a weeklong
encampment and various weekend-long
KINNUSIM (conventions). Programs are planned by a board of Kadimaniks,
Kadima Kouncil, with the help of our Kadima advisor.
8th grade members of Kadima receive a
FREE membership in Kadima, and are invited to participate in
USY starting in January. In addition, there are a few 8th grade-only programs throughout the year for 8th graders to get a taste of what
USYis all about! Fill out the

Kadima members are also invited to participate in our
Day-
off Programs held throughout the year on days off of school.

Kadima Kouncil
The Kadima Kouncil works with the Youth Director and Youth Advisor to plan programs for the year. They meet once-a-month to generate ideas and plan upcoming programs. The KadimaKouncil is a great place for 6th-8th graders to develop leadership skills and is a great transition into getting more involved with USY.
