Ritual is at the heart of any synagogue. Daily services, holidays, the High Holy Days, and of course Shabbat; life-cycle events: births, b'nai mitzvah, weddings and deaths--occasions joyful and sad mark the passage of time, and your involvement in the ritual life of the synagogue puts you right at the center.
Congregation Beth Shalom offers numerous opportunities for ritual involvement:
Join the New Shammas Committee
Participation in our Daily Minyan
Ritual Committee Membership
B'nai Mitzvah support
Leading Daily Services at morning and Evening Minyan
Helping to care for and maintain ritual items
Mentoring other congregants either as Torah readers or in services.
Contact Ritual Vice President Larry Grossman to join the ritual committee or to learn more about these involvement opportunities.
